A Hive of Spelling Bees

Recently we had our school spelling bee. Here are some words the kids had to spell: lieutenant, orchestra, dungeon, & giraffe. The two that won get to go to the Jefferson County Spelling Bee. The winners are Izzabella and Conner. Wish them good luck!
For all spelling bee participants:
Feel free to use the wordlists, study guides, etc. from the spelling bee website for your school contest. We'll have a different list for the area bee. Go to [[@exchweb/bin/redir.asp?URL=http://spellingbee.com/|http://spellingbee.com]] Once you log in (whatever you used for your registration) there are wordlists and guides. You can direct kids to the student and parent page where they can find online stuff or print out the Spell It book (the book we used to buy from the News)
Meiklejohn's annual Spelling Bee will be held on January 8, 2010. Any interested students should plan on attending a spelling bee meeting on Friday, December 11th with Mr. Braginetz. Mrs. Brandt will let you know of the time on Friday.
